Low Resistance Lead-Free PPTC Thermistor Used For Motor Overload And Overheat Protection

PPTC thermistor is often called "self-recovery fuse". It can be automatically restored and can be used many times. The reason is that it is made of high polymer and conductive particles after special processing, and maintains a low resistance value at room temperature. , when the temperature rises (caused by excessive current or ambient temperature rise) exceeds the critical temperature value, the internal crystal melts to change the structure, causing the resistance value to rise sharply, thereby blocking the circuit and achieving the purpose of circuit protection. If the temperature returns to normal, the polymer cools and crystallizes again, the conductive particles form a conductive path again, and the resistance will drop to an extremely low level. The main advantage is that the zero-power resistance can be made very small at room temperature, and the high-current models are only a few milliohms. The volume is small and the power consumption in the circuit is small, which can be ignored. More commonly used in motor overload, overheating protection, audio circuits, input and output interfaces, etc.
